The Reset Station

Here are the two resets from the table, yours to keep. Use them on the court, at work, or anywhere life goes sideways.

Reset #1: Bounce Back

  1. A small physical cue, like wiping your hands, rolling your shoulders, or pressing your feet into the ground.

  2. Take a breath: 4 seconds in, 6 seconds out.

  3. Say your words to yourself like “Moving on,” “Thank you, next,” or “Okay, anyway…”.

Reset #1: Monster Swap

The friend test: would you say this to a friend? If not, swap it for something true, kind, and next steps to take.

  • “Don’t mess this up.” > “It’s just a game.”

  • “Everyone else is better than me.” > “I’m here to play and have fun.”

Curious about

learning more skills?

I work with high-functioning adults and professionals who want therapy that’s collaborative, curious, and direct. Together we’ll look at what keeps you stuck, whether that’s guilt about setting boundaries, pressure to achieve, or feeling caught between two worlds, and build clarity and confidence that lasts.

If today’s resets were helpful and you’re interested in learning more, I’d love to hear from you.
